God Made it Better

What the enemy meant for harm, God made it better!

Isn’t that just classic of God?  When we started to envision Redeeming Zoe and what it could be, we thought we would build a building where all these people would come to receive our services. We also thought we (the founders) would still be in Cebu working.  It’s nothing like we envisioned....it’s better! We have communities partnering with us and national leaders thriving! There have been several key moments where we were worried and God’s grace has surrounded our organization. COVID being the most recent. I have seen so many missionaries have to come home because of COVID and not just in Asia. It almost has felt like the enemy won by shutting down so many businesses and so many organizations who were trying to share hope with people who need it the most.

As Becca and I left and got on the plane to return to America, we just sobbed because we knew it would be a long time before we were able to return to the Philippines. Though we were sad, we never lost hope. We can make plans and do our part to prepare but really it is the Lord who directs the steps of His people. The enemy meant to cause chaos but honestly, God has seriously made it better. Our team is doing a fabulous job of continuing and growing the vision of Redeeming Zoe in Cebu. Additionally, Becca and I are in a season as founders that is establishing foundation and vision for programs in the United States...East Texas of all places! I would have never guessed five years ago that this is where we would be, but we trust Him as He has guided us.

Redeeming Zoe has some exciting changes coming so make sure you are in the loop by liking our Facebook and Instagram pages and sign up for our monthly newsletter.

ONE VISION. TWO LOCATIONS.

Let’s do this!
