Unforgettable Experience

Fun, food, games, and lessons, are the few things that came to my mind when I was told I would be helping with the family experience. As a new member of the Redeeming Zoe family, I couldn’t help but get excited about the first program I would be attending.

It was held at a school gymnasium on a sunny Saturday morning back in March. It was scorching hot and I was a little worried if the families would still come and join, but to my surprise that didn’t stop them from joining the program. Big smiles greeted us from children and moms who were waiting early before the program started. It was not just me who was excited but also the children. I cannot believe how engaged and welcoming they were to us.

Seeing the families participate in our topic lesson and connect through the games and fun activities we prepared was just priceless. One parent even said the things we teach their children are really valuable and they are grateful to us for teaching them. We ended the day by distributing snacks and food packs for each family to go home with.

Seeing how happy they were made all the preparation worth it. It was an unforgettable family experience, one I will always be proud to be a part of!
