In just two months, Cebu has faced one disaster after another. While many are still rebuilding from the 6.9 earthquake, Typhoon Tino brought devastating floods that claimed over 130 lives, with many still missing. Families have lost their homes, their food, and access to clean water. Rebuilding their lives has become a daily struggle — especially when even the most basic necessities are out of reach. This is where we believe God is calling us to step in.
To address this urgent need and enhance our preparedness for future disasters, we are redirecting our end-of-year campaign to launch the Redeeming Zoe Relief Fund, with a goal of raising $5,000 to provide immediate relief to affected families.
We hold fast to the promise in Isaiah 61:3:
“To grant to those who mourn in Zion — to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
