Family’s Prized Possession
The first month of 2024 seemed like a long stretch but despite being a challenging month, we have triumphs that we would love to share with you and we look forward to a wonderful year ahead.
JANUARY MONTHLY WINS:
Our Club Kinabuhi family members not only received their monthly food packs but also received our family portrait gift, which to them is a prized possession. We make it a tradition that at the end of the year, during our Club Kinabuhi Christmas gatherings we take their family portrait, print them, and put it in a photo frame. They always look forward to receiving these every January.
Our Barangay outreach kids received gift boxes and a sumptuous meal from a partner church. All while being taught about protective behaviors. When learning and fun come together, all you see are the happy faces of children.
A partner organization came to visit and taught our mothers how to make jewelry which could be an income-generating skill. Even the children joined the fun activity and we look forward to mothers potentially using their new skill as a side hustle.
On the legal side, we are happy to share that our permit to operate in Cebu is again renewed. It is an annual thing to renew business permits here and also submit government documents needed to keep our programs open and we thank our ever-tireless administrator for working hard on it.

Please pray for one of our Club Kinabuhi participants who lost their father late last year and is struggling and their house is deteriorating. Please pray that her brother finds a job soon.
Please pray for all of our Club Kinabuhi teens, that they may grow in wisdom and knowledge of God’s love in their life.
Please pray for more partnerships and growth this 2024, especially outside of Cebu.
