A Fresh Start
Happy 2023 Redeeming Zoe Family, how is your first month of the year so far? I hope it went well just as ours did. This month we are so grateful for your prayers as we led trainings throughout the month for Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month.
JANUARY MONTHLY WINS:
We have successfully renewed our Redeeming Zoe Cebu Business permit for 2023. Praying for more impact in the community and growth this year.
Training with Cebu City Alliance Church Staff. 20 of their dedicated staff joined the virtual child protection training and we are able to introduce our Redeeming Zoe curriculum “I can be smart, strong, and safe”. They plan to use it for their children’s ministry and they have about 800 children included in their outreach programs. What a joy to know 800 children will be taught basic child-protective behaviors.
Club Kinabuhi continues! This month CK families renewed and signed their consent form allowing their children to continue to participate in our programs. They also showed interests to be more active in joining bible study sessions and family gatherings. Praise the Lord!
Food pack distribution continues to our beloved CK Families. They are so happy to receive the rice pack and some basic household items. One mother said she is so thankful we gave them household items like hygiene items and detergent because they could not prioritize or afford to buy. We were also able to give them an updated family picture framed as a gift from our Christmas party last month.
This month we are so happy that our CK Teens are very interested in joining church youth services. We pray that they have a safe space and environment where they can be themselves, have fun, and be free from harm and discrimination. They connected to new church friends their age and you can see the smiles and happy faces.
WHAT’S TO COME:
Feeding to one Baranggay and introducing our RZ lesson to a new community of children
Reopen RZ outreach at another Baranggay and checkin with the children who went through our programs last year
Anti Human Trafficking training opportunity to a local church
